django

Okay so you have to listen to the Django Unchained theme music as you read this post, it's epic. The whole movie was epic. It had typical Quentin Tarantino gore, most of the time it was comical and theatrical, with only two scenes being absolutely cringe worthy. There was a lot of quick wit, most of it coming from Christoph Waltz playing the amiable Dr. King Schultz.

Have a beautiful day,
Kate

Sun Child

I'm super stoked at how well these photos turned out with the sun and everything. I love backlit things, whether it's a dog, cat, an inanimate object, basically it could be anything.
So I was perusing lookbook.nu yesterday and stumbled across the blog Pop Champange by Julie Lan and just about died laughing at her posts and musings. She also has a great fashion sense and is from Victoria, but lives in Ottawa. As much as I love following international bloggers, I'll always have a soft spot for my fellow Canadians.

Have a beautiful day,
Kate

All systems go

Aren't these oxfords amazing? I love the weaved gold leather and guess what? I got them at Vaule Village! They're in near perfect condition and they're exactly my size 9.5 AA (narrow). Crazy right? But it seems Vaule Village has invested more time into looking at shoes and clothes - noticing when things are probably worth a bit more then $10, because these bad boys were $26. I never thought I would spend $26 on shoes at the Village, but hey, sometimes quality calls.

Have a beautiful day,
Kate
